Nikolai Snopkov and Alexander Subbotin congratulated the Kotov family from the Rossony district
Anna and Alexey Kotov have become parents to 25 children, two of whom are their biological children, one girl is adopted, and the rest are foster children. However, this division exists only on paper; in reality, all the boys and girls who currently live in the house and those who have already grown up and left it are considered their own by the couple. In addition, the Kotovs already have four grandchildren.
The relationships in this close-knit family are built on trust, understanding, and love. This is evident to the naked eye. They all take care of the cleanliness and order in the house, improve the surrounding territory, and gladly work on their personal plot. Three years ago, the regional administration gifted this friendly and hardworking family a tractor, which has become a great help in growing vegetables for their meals. They also decorated the Christmas tree together with ornaments that have been carefully preserved in the house for many years.
Parents fully support children, developing their abilities. Pupils of a family-type children's home have repeatedly become winners of creative competitions. They record their achievements in the "Book of Life". The family chronicle has been kept for over ten years.
Anna Kotova is a laureate of the regional prize named after Hero of the Soviet Union Zinaida Tusnolobova-Marchhenko, and a winner of the republican competition "Woman of the Year". Among her awards is a diploma from the regional competition of amateur films "Happy Family Moments". The head of the family keeps up with his wife, taking an active part in cultural and social events.
Great attention is paid to a healthy lifestyle in the family. Adults and children engage in physical activities together and spend their leisure time outdoors.
– New Year's holidays are a time of magic, gifts, and wishes. The "Our Children" campaign, which has been held in Belarus for many years, is kind and bright; it helps to fulfill dreams. It is especially important on these days to visit places where warmth and care are most needed, – noted Alexander Subbotin, who presented the family with a large TV, and the children with sweets and footballs. As it turned out, even girls play football.
And Nikolay Snopkov, in addition to a set of household appliances, brought, as he explained, what he himself likes – educational books, a board game for a large company, and Belarusian candies.
– We create miracles ourselves. Isn't such a large, friendly family a miracle? And not just a New Year's miracle, but a constant, real one, – said Nikolay Snopkov.
