OAO "Amkodor-KEZ" presented new equipment at the opening of modernized workshops

The precise, calibrated work of new Belarusian-made land reclamation equipment was demonstrated at the opening of modernized workshops at OJSC "Amkodor-KEZ" in the urban-type settlement of Kokhanovo, Tolochin District.

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko took part in the solemn ceremony. He familiarized himself with the production novelties, including those that came off the assembly line in June of this year, and asked the enterprise's specialists about the advantages and productivity of the equipment. Some models have no analogues in the world, and their productivity has increased up to 10 times.

At the enterprise

The Prime Minister also personally experienced how comfortable drivers of such machines feel by sitting in the cabins of some of the new models. Roman Golovchenko also tested Belarus's first tracked excavator with a 1 cubic meter bucket. This machine came off the assembly line today, and its debut took place at the enterprise during a demonstration. The excavator will be used in industrial, residential, and road construction, agriculture, as well as for land reclamation work. The new excavator can work with frozen soil, as well as pre-loosened frozen and rocky soils. Powerful bulldozers manufactured in Kokhanovo can also be used for firefighting. The work of these machines was shown at the enterprise's test site. The distinguished guests were convinced that such equipment is not afraid of heat, hail, or unstable ground, and, for example, a fragile girl can operate the new paver.

The "Amkodor-KEZ" production line includes 11 items. The enterprise, founded in 1974, initially specialized in the maintenance and repair of excavators, and now it is a modern plant that produces machines of the future. Since 2013, the enterprise has become part of the "Amkodor" holding. And since then, its modernization has been systematically carried out. The total amount of investment in this area amounted to more than Br25 million. Here, in-demand samples of modern equipment were developed and adopted for production. "Amkodor-KEZ" is the only manufacturer of land reclamation machines and single-bucket hydraulic excavators on crawler and wheeled chassis, trenchers, crawler bulldozers, and other specialized machines in our country. The equipment of the Kokhanovo plant is capable of operating in swampy terrain and on weak soils.-0-
