New resident of FEZ "Vitebsk" will create a production of gasoline tools in Polotsk
In 2023, LLC "Lesdrevconsult" was registered as a resident of the FEZ "Vitebsk" with a project to create a production of gasoline-powered tools, as reported by the FEZ administration.
An import-substituting production of chainsaws, brush cutters, and hedge trimmers for the needs of forestry enterprises is planned to be organized at the site in Polotsk. According to the company's head, Vladimir Ugorenko, the project will be implemented with the support of Chinese partners. The release of product prototypes is expected in the first half of the year. In the future, investors intend to organize the production of components in Polotsk, gradually increasing the degree of localization of gasoline-powered tool production. The investment volume will exceed Br1.5 million. During the project implementation, it is planned to create about 10 additional jobs. Half of the production output is planned to be exported to the markets of the EAEU countries.

A total of 57 organizations have been registered as residents of the FEZ "Vitebsk", implementing projects with the participation of investors from 14 countries.
The FEZ "Vitebsk" consists of 17 sectors located in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, Postavy, Miory, and Dokshytsy districts, as well as in the regional center, with a total area of 2415 hectares.
