The regional festival "Youth for Peace and Creation" will be held in Vitebsk on June 1

The regional festival "Youth for Peace and Creation" will be held on June 1 in Vitebsk.

The organizers of the event are the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, and the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM.

The festival program includes:

- a rally-requiem "Belarus Remembers. Youth Remembers"(a theatrical sketch "Feats Frozen in Granite");

- a youth procession "Towards Peace and Creation"(representatives of the Youth Capital city of Novopolotsk, members of student teams, representatives of the Belarusian Pioneer Organization, Peace Schools, activists and volunteers of the BRSM, cadets, military-patriotic classes, students of secondary vocational and higher education institutions, working youth, athletes, accompanied by the drum show "BARABAND", will march from Victory Square to the Summer Amphitheater);

- operation of interactive platforms for festival participants and residents of Vitebsk near the Summer Amphitheater:

the Ministry of Emergency Situations platform will present a concert program, hold the "Crawling Race" competition and a parade of children's fire equipment. A fire rescue equipment exhibition will be open, and everyone can take part in a competition with characters from the cartoon "Special Squad 112", and for the bravest - the "Young Climber" and "Smoke Screen" attractions;

the traffic police platform includes many areas of law enforcement activities: an exhibition of weapons from the special police unit, a career guidance marathon by the personnel services of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, a cybersecurity platform, and an exhibition "History of the Passport". Everyone can test their knowledge of traffic rules and experience the safety seat. An exhibition of modern and retro police equipment will also be organized. Cyclists can test their skills on an obstacle course, and for young road users, a mini-city with its own traffic controller and real traffic rules will be available. The most active participants will receive prizes;

the Belarusian student teams platform invites everyone to take part in the "Choose a Student Team" campaign.

(sign up for student teams). For connoisseurs of our country's geography, a task to assemble a jigsaw map of the Republic of Belarus will be offered. A student team creativity corner will be set up – fighters will perform popular movement songs with guitar accompaniment. You can explore exhibitions of the best works from the "Colors of the World" and "Named After Them" contests, as well as an exhibition of achievements of student teams from the Vitebsk region. Board games will be available for guests of the venue: from Belarusian Chess to mini-board games about the student team movement. Festival participants will be able to get face painting with the help of volunteers from the NGO "BRSM".

Venue of educational institutions and the Territorial Center for Social Services of Vitebsk and Vitebsk District, the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Republic of Belarus, as part of the implementation of the humanitarian project "Prevention of Institutionalization and Deinstitutionalization of Early Age Children and Children with Disabilities in the Vitebsk Region", will hold master classes of various orientations: creative, sports, and scientific. Those interested will be able to learn to make origami, postcards, talismans, and soft toys, participate in quizzes and contests, and also purchase various souvenir products.

Venue of district organizations of the public association "Belaya Rus" of Vitebsk and the primary organization of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", which will demonstrate an emergency special vehicle (104) on a MAN "Scorpion" chassis, will hold a series of interactive events: quizzes, contests, riddles, etc.

- Solemn concert "We are young – the hope of the country",
during which the assignment of vouchers for the Third Labor Semester – 2023 will take place. The best collectives of higher educational institutions of the region, winners of the Student Spring – 2023, collectives of student teams of the Vitebsk region, the vocal-instrumental ensemble "Aurum" with the premiere of a song about the Youth Union, and the Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Alyona Lanskaya will perform for the festival participants.
