A commemorative cancellation of a postal envelope with the stamp "Day of Belarusian Written Language" took place in Horadok
As part of the celebration, a ceremony was held to cancel a commemorative envelope and an original stamp dedicated to the XXX Day of Belarusian Written Language.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Igor Brylo, Minister of Information Vladimir Pertsov, Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Natalia Gordeenko.
The stamp depicts books, a quill, historical buildings, and the envelope features the sculptural composition "Taras on Parnassus", the local history museum, the city's coat of arms, and the emblem of the Day of Belarusian Written Language.
The circulation of the envelope was 30 thousand copies.
