Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin introduced the new head of the Senno district
Oleg Makarevich, who previously headed the well-known agricultural enterprise "Mayak Vysokoye" in the Orsha district, has been approved as the Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee at a session of the District Council of Deputies.
Oleg Makarevich was born in 1974 in the urban-type settlement of Orekhovsk, Orsha district. In 2001, he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Institute of Service and Economics. From 1996 to 2004, he worked at industrial enterprises in Orsha. From 2008 to 2012, he held the position of Head of Administration of the Orsha District Executive Committee. He then headed the Orsha District Committee of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers and worked as Deputy Director of OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye" in the Orsha district. Since 2018, he has headed the agricultural enterprise.
Introducing the new head to the region's active members, Vladimir Davydovsky, Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that Oleg Arkadyevich has proven himself to be an initiative, competent, and energetic leader during his work in various positions. He possesses modern management skills and approaches problem-solving creatively. While working as the director of the agricultural enterprise, he consistently focused on increasing efficiency, boosting production volumes, reducing costs, and implementing advanced technologies. Under his leadership, the gross production of grain and leguminous crops, milk, average daily weight gain of cattle, and average monthly wages of employees increased. He is characterized by a respectful attitude towards people, sociability, and the ability to persuade and defend his point of view.
In his speech, Oleg Makarevich stated that as he takes the helm of the ship called "Senno District," he fully understands that the wind will not always be favorable. Sometimes, everyone will have to row together to reach the goal. He expressed confidence that all tasks will be manageable.
Chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin emphasized that, personally for him, a positive moment in Oleg Arkadyevich's biography was that he was not afraid to move from public service to the agro-industrial sector at one time, despite the difficulties that traditionally exist there. This speaks volumes. He not only managed to preserve the accumulated experience in the farm but also to multiply it. It is also impressive that Oleg Makarevich was concerned about leaving the agricultural enterprise in a difficult drought year. The only argument that convinced him was that there was also a drought in Sennensky district, but the scale of the upcoming work was larger.
