Human-height water misting frames will be installed for the first time in Vitebsk

Dispersion frames with water sprayers at human height will be installed for the first time in Vitebsk, reported the head of the energy service of the Vitebskvodokanal branch of UP Vitebskoblvodokanal, Andrey Shcherbenok.

The exact locations for the frames are still being determined. It is assumed that they will appear in the center, on Suvorova Street. They will be over 2 meters high so that a person of any height can easily pass through. This project will be implemented in the regional center on the initiative of the city leadership.

It will be comfortable for people to walk through the frame and cool off in high air temperatures in the summer, and it will be interesting and fun for children to run around the objects.

Vitebsk has thoroughly prepared for the fountain season. By the way, on April 29, some of them were already turned on in test mode for a couple of hours. We are talking about the "dandelions" on Victory Square, which worked during the festive ceremony of honoring the winners of the competition for the results of work in 2022 on the Honor Boards. In total, the enterprise has 16 facilities on its balance sheet and under its maintenance.

Vitebskvodokanal reminds residents and guests of the city: you cannot bathe children or enter the fountains yourself. There are risks, both in terms of electrical safety and in terms of the likelihood of contracting various infections - stray animals can come to the facilities. In addition, at the fountains on Kalinin Street, where mobile catering facilities are organized nearby in the summer, people even managed to wash dishes.
