Развитию сельхозпроизводства в Шкловском и Оршанском районах посвящена рабочая поездка Александра Лукашенко
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a working trip to the Shklovsky district, will consider issues of effective development of agricultural production in the Shklovsky and Orsha districts. A meeting in Shklov is dedicated to this topic, reports BELTA.

Among the participants of the meeting are the heads of the Presidential Administration, the State Control Committee, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Deputy Prime Minister overseeing the agro-industrial complex, the chairmen of the Vitebsk and Mogilev regional executive committees, the head of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Minister of Agriculture and Food, and the Presidential Aides in these two regions. Representatives of the local government vertical and the heads of agricultural enterprises of the Shklovsky and Orsha districts are also invited to the meeting.

He explained that then it would be clear to everyone what and from whom the heads of executive committees could demand, there would be no disputes regarding departmental subordination and the limits of competence. During the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the need to solve a very important issue - to determine the methods for increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in two key districts. Initially, the discussion turned to Orsha. The region received an impetus for development at the end of 2018, when the President signed Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District" with the aim of improving the level and quality of life of people. A five-year program for accelerated development was adopted, which covered almost all areas of production and the social sphere. "The project is exemplary. We used the program-target method. We identified elements of integration," noted Alexander Lukashenko. The President emphasized that all necessary resources were allocated, and specifically, over Br1 billion was invested in the agro-industrial complex of the Orsha District. "The district has been somewhat improved. People's salaries have been increased. The outflow of personnel has slowed down (only slowed down)," the head of state pointed out the positive effect. At the same time, shortcomings were also named. For example, not all measures provided for by the program were implemented, and a number of production and financial indicators were not achieved. In particular, it was not possible to reach the parameters for grain and flax. New processing capacities remain underloaded with raw materials. A number of farms are still not stocked with livestock. "I think you will have to work hard to bring this program to a logical conclusion," said Alexander Lukashenko.
