Rectors of Vitebsk universities are taking part in the Forum of University Rectors in Moscow
The forums are taking place from October 16 to 18 in Moscow. Vitebsk Region is represented by: Valentina Bogatyreva, Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, and Alexey Chukanov, Rector of Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University.
Valentina Bogatyreva spoke at the plenary session of the Forum with a report on "The Place of a Regional University in the BRICS Cooperation Platform".
Alexey Chukanov delivered a report on "Opportunities and Potential of Belarusian Medical Education".
On October 17-18, the rectors will hold negotiations with the leadership of educational institutions of the Russian Federation and BRICS countries. During these negotiations, it is planned to discuss the interim results of the implementation of cooperation programs with partner higher education institutions and establish new contacts with universities of BRICS states.
