The republican subbotnik will be held in the Vitebsk region on April 17
The republican subbotnik (volunteer work day) will be held in Belarus on April 17. The corresponding decision is enshrined in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated April 8, 2021 No. 206.
To resolve organizational issues regarding the preparation and holding of this event in the Vitebsk region, a working group has been created by the order of the chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.
On this day, residents of the region will work at their workplaces or carry out landscaping and restoration of historical and cultural sites, territories of settlements, and prepare children's health and sports and health camps for the summer season.
Funds earned on the subbotnik, including at workplaces, in amounts determined voluntarily by employees, including employees whose activities are not related to the production of goods (works), provision of paid services, are transferred to separate accounts of city and district executive committees with subsequent transfer to the account of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee: No. BY04AKVV36413010004712000000, JSC "ASB Belarusbank", BIC AKVVBY2X, UNP 300294561, OKPO 00022705.
According to the resolution, 50% of the funds earned on the day of the republican subbotnik will be directed to the Ministry of Health to strengthen the material and technical base of medical institutions, including the purchase of equipment for providing planned and emergency medical care to the population, and partial financing of vaccine purchases against the infection caused by the coronavirus COVID-19, in order to ensure the accessibility of vaccination for the population. The remaining 50% will remain at the disposal of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee and will be directed to the repair, reconstruction, restoration, and preservation of historical and cultural sites, memorial complexes, and places of military glory of the Great Patriotic War era.
