The Vitebsk region leadership congratulates trade workers on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Belarus's trade bodies

Fulfilling a social function, trade is the most important sector of the economy, on which stability in society and the well-being of citizens largely depend.

The joint work of management bodies, trade and industrial enterprises of the region, the combination of economic and administrative measures taken in the republic and the region have allowed the industry to reach a new qualitative level.

Today, the trade of Vitebsk region makes a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the target task defined by the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025, in terms of increasing the share of domestic goods in the total retail trade turnover to 63% by the end of the current five-year period, including food products – up to 85%.

Your constant striving for growth, acquisition of new knowledge, and compliance with the requirements of the time deserve special recognition.
