An oblast commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus has been established in the Vitebsk region

The commission includes 13 members. These are representatives of political parties, other public associations, work collectives, and citizens nominated by application.

The responsibility for this decision, for the commission's ability to ensure the electoral campaign, will lie with us, the members of the executive committee and the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies. I would like to emphasize that in 2024, a qualitative modernization of the political system was implemented in Belarus. On February 25, the first unified voting day in history took place, where Belarusians elected deputies of all levels. Also, in the outgoing year, members of the Council of the Republic and delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly were elected. These elections were held at a high organizational level. Therefore, I am setting you all up for the same effective work in the upcoming presidential campaign, - emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Subbotin.
