Athletes from the Vitebsk region took second place in the open marathon championship of Belarus
Last Saturday, the open Belarusian Marathon Championship was held in Mogilev. Marina Domantsevich from Vitebsk won the women's competition (with a result of 2:38.39), as reported by the website of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
In the men's program, two representatives from the Vitebsk region entered the top five: Alexander Vasilevich finished fourth, and Sergey Mikhalkin finished fifth. The winner was Alexander Pryamov from Minsk. By the way, he and Marina Domantsevich also won these competitions last year.
In the team standings of the open Belarusian Marathon Championship, runners from the Vitebsk region took second place.
