More than five tons of humanitarian aid were sent from the Vitebsk region as part of the republican campaign "Belarus is for the children of Donbas"
The charity event lasted from December 15 of last year to January 15, 2024. Not only representatives of "Belaya Rus" divisions throughout the Vitebsk region, but also concerned citizens joined the collection of aid. The most active were residents of Beshenkovichi, Gorodok, Vitebsk, Sennno, Verkhnedvinsk, Glubokoe, Oktyabrsky and Pervomaisky districts (the latter two are from the regional center). More than five tons of humanitarian aid were collected: food products, hygiene items, medical supplies, toys, etc.
– It is gratifying that the entire region joined our initiative, including colleagues from other public organizations, – said Vladimir Terentyev, chairman of the regional organization of the public association "Belaya Rus".
Today, activists sent a parcel of kindness to Minsk, from where it will proceed to its destination – outside of Belarus.
