Three dancing fountains and LED screens: how Victory Square in Vitebsk will change
К предстоящему Форуму регионов Беларуси и России и 1050-летию Витебска площадь Победы преобразится после реконструкции. Главным обновлением, которого с нетерпением ждут витебчане, станут три фонтана. "Это концептуально новые объекты, аналогов которым нет в Беларуси. В три чаши фонтанов будет встроена подсветка, будет работать и музыкальное сопровождение. На праздниках струи воды, которые в высоту могут подниматься на 5 метров, будут "танцевать" под тематические песни и световое шоу. Сейчас мы завершили установку, гидроизоляцию первой чаши и уложили брусчатку вокруг нее. В начале июня будем пробовать в режиме пусконаладки включать в ней фонтаны. В ближайшее время после технологического промежутка проведем такие же работы с другими чашами. К Форуму регионов все фонтаны будут функционировать", - подчеркнул Артур Строд. Два стационарных светодиодных экрана, к которым жители областного центра уже привыкли, будут заменены на новые. Они почти в два раза легче своих предшественников, отличаются лучшим разрешением, проекцией и производительностью. "К Форуму регионов планируем поставить два светодиодных информационных табло. Это будут сенсорные экраны, как на смартфонах. На них будет отображаться информация о площади Победы - ее история, изменения, происходившие с ней, ход реконструкции", - пояснил директор УКС Витебска. 
Заранее позаботились строители и о главном новогоднем украшении области - для будущей елки, которая собирает на площади Победы всех от мала до велика, провели новую электропроводку, так что прописка лесной гостьи останется прежней. 
Что касается выполненных работ, то строители уже заменили надпись на жилом здании, выходящем на площадь Победы, - "Подвиг советского народа бессмертен", здесь же водрузили аналог Знамени Победы. На мемориальном комплексе в честь советских воинов-освободителей, партизан и подпольщиков Витебщины установили подсветку, которая проецирует на три обелиска цвета национального флага. They are almost twice as light as their predecessors, have better resolution, projection, and performance. "For the Forum of Regions, we plan to install two LED information boards. These will be touch screens, like on smartphones. They will display information about Victory Square - its history, the changes that have occurred with it, and the progress of the reconstruction," explained the director of UKS Vitebsk. Builders have also taken care in advance of the main New Year's decoration of the region - for the future Christmas tree, which gathers everyone from young to old on Victory Square, new electrical wiring has been installed, so the forest guest's location will remain the same. By the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which will be held on June 27-28 in Vitebsk, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk, the main part of the reconstruction work on the square in the regional center will be completed, and then, with sufficient funding, several green islands will be arranged here. Trees will be planted in four granite flowerbeds, and such green zones will border the square, creating additional coziness.
