CEC approved the results of the Presidential elections of Belarus

ЦИК утвердил итоги выборов Президента Беларуси
The Central Election Commission has approved the results of the Presidential election of the Republic of Belarus. The CEC meeting was held on February 3 in Minsk.


"The CEC has been presented with the protocols of the regional and Minsk city election commissions on the results of the voting by regions and Minsk, based on which the election results for the country have been established," said Igor Karpenko.

The total number of voters in the country was 6,903,994. Ballots were received by 5,916,834 voters. 5,916,195 voters participated in the voting.
2,887,052 voters voted early. 278,850 voters voted at their place of stay. On election day, 2,750,293 voters participated in the voting at the polling station premises.


The following number of voter ballots were cast for the candidates for President of the Republic of Belarus:
  • Gaydukevich Oleg Sergeevich - 119,272 voter ballots;
  • Kanopatskaya Anna Anatolyevna - 109,760 voter ballots;
  • Lukashenko Alexander Grigoryevich - 5,136,293 voter ballots;
  • Syrankov Sergey Alexandrovich - 189,740 voter ballots;
  • Khizhnyak Alexander Nikolaevich - 102,789 voter ballots.
  • 213,277 voters voted against all candidates.
  • "Lukashenko Alexander Grigoryevich has been elected President of the Republic of Belarus, with 5,136,293 voter ballots cast for his candidacy, which amounted to 86.82%, i.e., more than half of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus who participated in the voting," emphasized CEC Secretary Elena Baldovskaya.
