Sergey Semyonichev has been approved as the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee
At the 52nd extraordinary session of the Miory District Council of Deputies of the twenty-eighth convocation, with the consent of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Sergey Semyonyshev was approved as the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee.
The session was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, the Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Davydovsky, a Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Nikolay Shevchuk, members of the District Executive Committee and heads of its structural divisions, chairmen of rural councils of deputies, heads and representatives of public associations.
But before presenting the candidate for the position of chairman of the district executive committee, Vladimir Davydovsky thanked the former head of the district, Igor Kuznetsov, for his work. He led the Miory region for over 14 years, and under his leadership, much has been done for its socio-economic development. But the time has come for the growth of a talented organizer. He is moving to work in the structure of the regional executive committee.
In his place, Alexander Subbotin, in agreement with the President, proposed the candidacy of Sergey Semyonyshev, who recently worked as the First Deputy Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee.
Introducing the new head of the Miory district, Vladimir Davydovsky noted his principledness, initiative, good organizational skills, analytical thinking, and sufficient practical experience.
The candidacy of Sergey Semyonyshev was supported by deputies Alexander Shokel and Maria Banifatova.
During an open vote, the delegates unanimously approved Sergey Semyonyshev as the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee.
Congratulating and presenting Sergey Olegovich with his certificate, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee wished him success in reviving Miory Region as the former breadbasket of the region, and in further developing industrial production, emphasizing that Miory has now become an industrial region. In turn, Sergey Semyonchyov assured those present that he would do everything for the further development of the region where his family roots are located, and promised to justify the trust placed in him, not to let down the head of state, the regional leadership, and the residents of Miory Region.
In conclusion of the session, Alexander Subbotin thanked the former Chairman of the District Executive Committee, whom the Regional Executive Committee awarded a Certificate of Honor for conscientious work in public administration bodies, personal contribution to the development of Miory Region, and high professionalism.
