In Kopyś, rescuers and regional leadership chopped 30 cubic meters of firewood "Presidential style"

The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin and the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov, as well as the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz and 30 heads of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, led by the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergey Meshkin, took up axes in the President's homeland.

During the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the institution of the Presidency, 30 cubic meters of wood were chopped, which were subsequently handed over to needy pensioners and large families. The participants of the labor flash mob not only delivered the firewood but also stacked it.

– We are holding this labor flash mob in the President's homeland. 30 years of the institution of the Presidency – 30 cubic meters of firewood and 30 of the bravest heads of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 1994, the people chose our leader. Looking back, one can clearly see and appreciate how the country lived then and what we have now. Belarusians have shown how they can work. The country is flourishing and will continue to do so, despite what is happening around. Chopping firewood in our country has a special meaning. It is already a national tradition, – noted Alexander Subbotin.

After the heated labor march, the regional leaders visited the President's "place of power" – Trofimova Krynica in Alexandria, to plunge into the icy font and drink the purest spring water.
