Vityaz OJSC produced the 500,000th television set since the beginning of the year
Open Joint Stock Company "Vityaz" has produced its 500,000th television since the beginning of the year. This production volume for this product has been achieved by the enterprise for the first time since 2006, when it was still producing cathode-ray tube televisions.
Currently, televisions account for almost 80 percent of the total volume of products manufactured by "Vityaz". They are assembled on three assembly lines. The newest assembly line for checking 32-65 inch televisions with a packaging line was commissioned in 2021, which made it possible to organize the production of televisions with diagonals over 43 inches and SMART TV in large quantities. This contributed to "Vityaz" producing 477,000 televisions last year, and this year it managed to break this record. In 2022, new models under the SBER and DEXP trademarks were released.
— Despite the fact that the year started off difficult, we overcame all the challenges, — said the General Director of the enterprise, Gennady Azarov. — Currently, we are working at full capacity, which allowed us to produce 500,000 televisions. This is a significant figure, and we are proud of it.
The main export "television" market for the enterprise is the Russian Federation, and televisions produced by the Vitebsk television plant are in high demand there. The enterprise is proud that "Vityaz" is essentially a people's brand in the neighboring country. Just imagine how many Russians will celebrate the upcoming New Year to the chiming of the clock, which will be broadcast on televisions purchased by them from Vitebsk!
In 2023, it is planned to produce products of nine brands, including about a hundred models.
