A multifunctional sports ground has been opened in the Orsha district
– This is a significant event not only for the satellite city of Orsha but also for the region as a whole, – emphasized Viktor Kolochov, Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, during the grand opening ceremony of the complex. – Great attention is paid in the country to the development of sports and physical culture. We all see what facilities are functioning and being built, and there are more and more of them every year.
In 2021, the Presidential Sports Club launched the republican social project to support sports and a healthy lifestyle "Sport for All." Within its framework, such multifunctional sports grounds are being opened in all corners of our republic. The geography of the project is expanding every year. It has also come to Baran. The opening of this ground will give another impetus to the popularization of a healthy lifestyle and sports. Now, every resident of the satellite city of Orsha, from young to old, can come here at any time and work out.
The multifunctional strength complex WCG-15-1 is created according to an author's design and is intended for strength and functional training outdoors. It is a spatial frame that includes a workout zone and strength training equipment with adjustable weights. It also features a basketball court and a zone for people with disabilities.
– The versatility of this set allows for high-intensity interval training with elements of weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, kettlebell sport, strongman exercises, etc., – noted Valery Zhdanovich, acting chairman of the Baran City Executive Committee. – At the same time, one can develop strength, coordination, reaction, flexibility, and endurance. The new platform with a modern surface will give a new impetus to the city's sports movement and healthy lifestyle. The project was implemented with the assistance of local administrative and executive bodies.
At the request of the Baran City Executive Committee, the Presidential Sports Club decided to build a complex in our city. The residents of Baran also expressed their gratitude for such a gift.
– We are pleased to see how our city is developing, – said Natalia Labatskaya, director of Secondary School No. 15. – When you can see beautiful asphalted streets, new sidewalks, renovated houses, and, of course, such sports facilities. The priority in our city has always been a healthy lifestyle. The opening of such a platform will allow us to continue the health improvement movement and organize even more diverse physical culture and mass events. Those who care about their health will unite here, as well as those who strive for sports achievements; perhaps, new Olympic hopes will emerge.
