In Orsha, employees of the Orsha Department of the Security Department were handed the keys to apartments in a new building
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia Alexander Shepelev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov, and Head of the Regional Department of the Department of Protection, Colonel of Militia Sergey Murashkin.
– It is important to have a reliable rear to clearly fulfill the tasks set. A Decree of the Head of State has been adopted in our country, thanks to which the families of military personnel are primarily provided with housing, – emphasized Alexander Shepelev. – Everything is being done so that we live with dignity, raise children, ensure public order in our country, and move forward. And although today we are handing over the keys to rental housing, we mean that this is conditionally rental housing. After a certain period of service by the department's employees, these apartments will become their property.
Dmitry Demidov noted that today people who have chosen service in the internal affairs units as their calling are receiving the keys to new apartments.
– They all take an oath of allegiance to the state. At any time of day or night, they are ready to defend the people and their Fatherland. Undoubtedly, these people must understand that the state stands behind them, caring, worrying, and thinking about their living conditions and the fate of their families. The fact that active work is being carried out in our regions to allocate rental housing to law enforcement officers is an indicator of recognition of their service and merits.
