The renovated Civil Registry Office premises have opened in Tolochin after major repairs

Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Khomenko, who was present at the ceremony, noted that the state is based on the foundation of family values.

— It is noteworthy that this event took place in the Year of Historical Memory. After all, it begins, first of all, in the family, where each of us is proud of our relatives, cherishes their memory and passes it on to children and grandchildren. And the new premises, where joy and kindness reign, I am sure, will become a place that will bring much happiness to people, well-being to families, and, as a consequence, will create a foundation for the prosperity of our state, — he remarked.
In turn, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, spoke about the importance of this social facility.

– Such wonderful events as starting a family or registering юбилей dates of joint life, issuing a birth certificate, should take place in good conditions, so that it is not only bright and joyful in the soul, but also beautiful around. And today in Tolochin we have received very cozy, comfortable premises, the events held in which will truly be remembered for a lifetime, — stated the head of the deputy corps.
As a result of renovation and interior renewal, the solemn registration hall, the head of department's office, and the archive storage room have acquired a modern look. The corresponding work was carried out by the Republican Unitary Enterprise for Service Provision "BelUrObespechenie", which provided gratuitous assistance.

The honor to be the first to register their marriage in the new hall fell to Dmitry Peshko and Olga Kostyukevich, for whom this significant event will be doubly memorable — the document confirming the creation of the family was presented to them by the Minister of Justice. Unlike Dmitry and Olga, who have only just legalized their relationship, Petr and Yanina Dogel have been walking through life together for 50 years and on this day celebrated their golden jubilee in a solemn setting. The jubilee couple received a certificate, a gift, and flowers from the Chairman of the Tolochin District Executive Committee, Oleg Lyndin.

Also on this day, during a working trip to the Tolochin district, Sergey Khomenko and Vladimir Terentyev highly appreciated the conditions created for visitors and employees of the "One Window" service of the district executive committee, and familiarized themselves with the operation of existing and under-construction facilities on the territory of the Holy Protection Convent.
