In Vitebsk, the winners of the review-competition for the best organization of labor protection work were awarded
The award ceremony for enterprises with exemplary occupational safety and health organization was held by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
The annual review competition for the best organization of work on occupational safety and health among enterprises and organizations of industrial and non-industrial activities was held for the 16th time. More than 100 enterprises in the northern region, which had no industrial accidents in 2023, competed for the right to be called the best in the first stage of the competition, conducted by city and district executive committees. 27 organizations reached the regional stage, 13 of which were identified as leaders in creating proper working conditions for employees and enhancing the prestige of labor culture.
They were welcomed by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
– Production is not only about plans and programs. An important element of it is safety, care for the team, – noted the head of the region. – The competition provides an opportunity to reward the best for their contribution to the social development of enterprises and the economy as a whole, for preserving the most valuable – people's health and lives.
The Grand Prix of the regional review competition for the best organization of work on occupational safety and health was won by the "Polotskvodokanal" branch of the unitary enterprise "Vitebskobvodokanal".
In the nomination "Non-industrial sphere organizations," the Vitebsk branch of RUPPS "Belpochta" won; in the nomination "Industrial sphere organizations with up to 100 employees," RUP for transportation and supply of liquefied petroleum gases "SG-TRANS" won; in the nomination "Industrial sphere organizations with 101 to 500 employees," the branch "Agricultural production "MazolovoGaz" of PRUP "Vitebskoblgaz" won; in the nomination "Industrial sphere organizations with over 500 employees," the branch "Orsha main gas pipeline administration" of OJSC "Gazprom transgaz Belarus" won.
The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee also presented letters of gratitude for a significant contribution to the implementation of the main directions of state policy in the field of labor protection, preserving the health of workers, and organizing safe labor.
