The new head of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district was presented in Vitebsk
– The Oktyabrsky district is a large industrial one. 60% of Vitebsk's entire industrial potential is concentrated here. A huge amount of work has been done by the previous head of administration, Yuri Panfilov. Much has been done in the development of social infrastructure. A certain stage in the development of industrial potential, private business, the social sphere, and the improvement of Vitebsk and the Oktyabrsky district, in particular, lies ahead. These will be certain growth points for the new leader, – noted Gennady Sabinich.
The head of the city expressed hope that Vladimir Beleevich's work experience will help him unite the team and focus on achieving the set goals.
– Important events for the city such as the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the 1050th anniversary of Vitebsk, and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders are ahead. The main venues for the upcoming events are located in the Oktyabrsky district. In this regard, great responsibility rests on the administration and the city. The upcoming year will be particularly intense. We have a strong vertical of power to jointly withstand all challenges, – noted Vladimir Beleevich.
The head of administration promised to pay special attention to the economy, without which there will be no further growth. Investment projects are being implemented at enterprises, both state-owned and private, and they have strong teams to move forward, he emphasized.
Vladimir Beleevich was born in 1974 in Brest. He graduated from the Vitebsk State Technological University, and in 2010 – the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. During his career, he held various positions. He started as a 2nd-class fitter, worked as an assistant foreman, and then as a foreman in knitwear production. For more than 10 years, he held leadership positions in the housing and communal services of Vitebsk. From 2015 to 2024, he was the chairman of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies of the 27th and 28th convocations.
