An oblast forum for young families was held in Vitebsk
– It is important to preserve the family way of life inherent to Belarusians, so that marriage is precisely a union between a man and a woman, based on love, mutual respect, the best human qualities that should be passed on to children, – emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Chairman of the regional organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus" Dmitry Demidov. – For the third time, we are summing up the results of the "Family in Focus" competition, organized by public associations and the Vitebsk Diocese. The traditions that should be in the family and aimed at strengthening spirituality and morality are consonant with the ideas and values of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. It is important that young people actively participate in such projects.
As part of the Parental Love Week, the regional youth competition-marathon "Family in Focus" was launched. Each week, participants completed various tasks dedicated to a specific theme. The final chord was the regional family forum, which took place in the Vitebsk Diocese. In the open dialogue "Conversation about what matters: a happy family – a strong state," participants asked speakers questions, talked about how they envision a modern young family, and also voiced their ideas and initiatives. For example, one of the questions from the Rochev family from Vitebsk concerned the possibility of opening a youth center for the whole family in the Bilevo microdistrict.
According to the results of the "Family in Focus" competition-marathon, the Koretsky family from Lepel became the winner.
– This is our first time participating in the competition. The project itself is interesting, the children have a lot of emotions, and this marathon should definitely continue. We tried to approach the videos with humor, and our children really liked this format, – shared the Koretsky family.
