The President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Sergey Levkovich, congratulated the students and wished that the new academic year would be more successful than the previous one, and that the study of subjects would bring joy and positive emotions. Special words were addressed to the first-graders, for whom this day became particularly significant.
Addressing the parents, Sergey Levkovich noted that while grades are important, the main thing is the upbringing of worthy citizens capable of working and applying their knowledge. He also urged the older generation to be an example for their children, instilling in them respect for teachers and the older generation.
The school principal, Svetlana Tretyakova, reported that 1168 students are studying at the school this academic year, of whom 116 are first-graders. She emphasized the importance of raising patriots and the responsibility placed on educators. Based on the results of the past academic year, the school achieved significant success: 5 winners of republican olympiads, 15 medalists, and 96% of graduates entered higher education institutions. The average score of students in the centralized exam (CE) is 9.5. These graduate results allowed the school to enter the top 10 best schools and gymnasiums in the region for the centralized exam.
