In Vitebsk, near the Palace of Sports, the exhibition-sale "Autumn Round Dance" was held.

There was no room to swing a cat today at the venue near the Palace of Sports. In Vitebsk, the annual exhibition-sale of products from educational institutions of the region "Vosen'ski karahod" attracted residents and guests of the city with its bright colors, aromas, and abundance.

– We are pleased to meet at our exhibition-fair, which has already become a tradition. I am grateful to the educational institutions for being able to present the education system qualitatively today, on the eve of Teacher's Day. I want to wish schoolchildren to carefully examine the stands, get acquainted with the specialties of colleges, in order to make an informed choice of profession later on, – welcomed the guests the head of the main department for education of the regional executive committee Dmitry Khoma.

Vegetable and fruit and berry products, seedlings, saplings of trees and shrubs – everything that autumn is rich in, could be seen at the fair and purchased at affordable prices.

Agricultural products were presented by colleges from all regions of Vitebsk. Vitebsk State Agrarian and Technical College brought "Manifest" and "Colomba" potato varieties, cabbage, carrots, beets, ornamental plant saplings, and greens.

– We have large capacities for growing our own products – vegetable and grain crops. There is a greenhouse section on the college grounds where we grow tomatoes, bell peppers of several varieties, etc. The students work under the guidance of masters, – explained the master of vocational training at the college Anfisa Fadeeva.Glubokoe State College brought grain, potatoes, selected vegetables – cabbage, carrots, pumpkin, baked goods, as well as sets of bed linen, which are sewn by the students themselves. The Glubokoe residents also surprised with a rich harvest of cranberries.

– Cranberries this year yielded more than ever – large, ripe, we collect them in potato bags, – noted the master of vocational training Lyudmila Tsyrkina.

Hot draniki, handmade sausages, and shashlik from the Vidzy State Vocational and Technical College were in high demand, as were the hot, fragrant "Vidzy ear," buns, sour cream cakes, and curd cakes.

The Gorodok State Agrarian-Technical College brought mainly agricultural products.

– Every self-respecting specialist who has dedicated their life to agriculture must understand how grain and vegetables grow, and at what cost bread is obtained. Therefore, starting from the first year, our students get involved in agricultural work, – said Yuri Sorochinsky, a mechanical engineer at the college.

Vocational schools in the region also presented products made of fabric, wool, straw, vine, clay, wood, and metal, made by students and teachers, and delighted guests with fresh pastries for every taste.

Institutions recognized in the regional stage of the republican review of innovative and technical creativity of students and employees of educational institutions were solemnly presented with their well-deserved awards at the festival. The event was adorned by a concert of the best children's creative groups of the region.
