A trial centralized exam will be held in the Vitebsk region on January 28
"Higher education has never made a person happy. A person's happiness and success are determined by their chosen profession. Therefore, the new admission rules are precisely focused on this: on a child's success, taking into account their chosen profession," said Elena Bogdanovich.
In the Vitebsk region, as throughout the country, a trial centralized examination will be held on January 28. "In our region, 22 points for conducting the centralized examination have been designated. These are our three regional universities: Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk, and Vitebsk State Technological University. Additionally, five vocational education institutions and 14 general secondary education institutions have been designated as CE points. As of now, all students have registered, received their passes, and on the 28th, we will collect them centrally and transport them to the CE points. Organizational commissions have already been formed, teachers who will work in the аудиториях have been identified, as well as those responsible within the аудиториях, so we are ready to conduct the trial CE," stated the First Deputy Head.
According to her, such a rehearsal will allow all necessary issues to be resolved by May. "Furthermore, students will be able to try themselves out and understand what a centralized examination is. They will practically see the tests they will have to solve. By April 1, they must decide on the subject they will take. In the meantime, they have the opportunity to test their abilities and then calmly focus on their preparation during the remaining months. At the same time, one must not forget about other subjects, as the average certificate score is also important; it also plays a role in admission," noted Elena Bogdanovich.
