In the Vitebsk region, more than 44% of the plan has been sown as of April 15

According to the regional agricultural sales department, as of the morning of April 15, 56.7 thousand hectares, or 44.3% of the plan, have been sown with early grain and leguminous crops (as of the same date in 2023, 6.5 thousand hectares, or 4.6%, were sown). The leaders are Orsha (86.6%), Tolochin (76.3%), and Chashniki (75.7%) districts. In total, nine regions have passed the halfway mark in sowing these crops. Also, 3 thousand hectares of spring rapeseed (14.4%) and a fifth of flax – 2.2 thousand hectares – have been sown in the Vitebsk region.

The first 500 hectares have been sown with corn, including 263 hectares for grain.

The country's potato-growing leader, Tolochin Cannery, has planted 119 hectares of the second bread out of a thousand planned.
