In the Vitebsk region, more than 3 thousand people are in self-isolation
Citizens diagnosed with COVID-19, first and second level contacts, as well as those who arrived from abroad are in self-isolation. Self-isolation lasts for 14 days, but the period may be extended by doctors' decision. Sanitary service workers and law enforcement officers check how people feel and whether they comply with the prescribed regime.
Those in self-isolation are obliged not to leave their homes, including not visiting places of work and study, retail and catering establishments, sports events, exhibitions and concerts, cinemas, train stations and other crowded places. Exceptions are made for cases of extreme necessity - visiting the nearest grocery store or pharmacy, taking out the trash. When leaving home, one must wear a mask and avoid contact with other people. If their health deteriorates, a person should call an ambulance.
