In the Vitebsk region, 521.4 thousand tons of grain, including rapeseed, have been threshed
Belarus has threshed over 6.7 million tons of grain, including rapeseed. This was reported to BELTA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
As of August 9, Belarus had threshed 6.753 million tons of grain (including rapeseed), of which 5.697 million tons were cereals and pulses (81.8% of the areas to be harvested, yield - 33.9 centners per hectare), and 1.056 million tons were winter rapeseed.
In terms of total grain yield, including rapeseed, the Minsk region harvested 1.825 million tons, the Grodno region - 1.537 million tons, the Brest region - 1.507 million tons, the Mogilev region - 714.4 thousand tons, the Gomel region - 648 thousand tons, and the Vitebsk region - 521.4 thousand tons.
Harvesting of other crops is ongoing: winter rye - 89% of the plan, spring barley - 83.2% of the plan, wheat - 81.4% of the plan, oats - 79.4% of the plan, triticale - 78.1% of the plan, pulses - 62.5% of the plan.
Harvesting of winter barley and winter rapeseed has been completed.
Simultaneously with the harvesting, flax pulling is underway. 39.9 thousand hectares have been pulled (89.1% of the areas to be harvested).
