Preparations for the "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2022" competition have begun in the Vitebsk region.
Preparatory work has begun for the regional competition to award the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2022", the procedure for which is determined by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Among the main criteria for awarding the honorary title are the significance, relevance, and effectiveness of the results of activities, production indicators, and professional and business qualities of the candidates. In addition, when selecting contenders, data on administrative liability, absence or presence of a criminal record are necessarily taken into account.
Candidates for victory are determined based on the results of work during the year. Documents for their nomination are accepted at city and district executive committees on a territorial basis. Subsequently, the participants will go through a competitive selection, as a result of which 50 winners will be determined. They will be awarded the honorary title with a special diploma and a monetary reward.
The professional achievements of the best representatives of labor collectives, organizations, and institutions from all regions of the oblast will be recognized in 5 nominations: "Industry, Trade and Services, Financial Activities, Small and Medium-sized Businesses", "Agro-Industrial Complex, Environmental Protection, Forestry", "Housing and Communal Services and Road Management, Construction and Architecture, Fuel and Energy Complex, Communications, Transport and Logistics", "Social Sphere (Social Protection of the Population, Culture, Education, Science, Sports, Healthcare, Youth)", "Ensuring Legality and Law and Order, Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies, Activities of Local Government Bodies and Self-Government, Public Organizations".
By the way, the competition is held annually to stimulate creative work, promote innovative ideas, and advanced experience. It is designed to emphasize the value of the merits and achievements of the region's residents and their contribution to the common cause of the region's development.
The names of the best representatives of the region will be announced in February 2023. Traditionally, billboards with their photographs will adorn the settlements of Vitebsk Region throughout the year.
