Mothers who gave birth on the Day of National Unity were congratulated at the Vitebsk Regional Maternity Hospital
Mothers who gave birth on National Unity Day are receiving congratulations. As part of the project "Party for Children" and the campaign "Love for Native Belarus from Childhood," representatives of the regional party branch and the public association "Belaya Rus," along with honored guests, visited the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital. They presented commemorative gifts with best wishes to six women from Vitebsk, a Russian woman from Velikiye Luki, and their babies.
– The birth of a child is the most important event in every woman's life. It is wonderful and symbolic that National Unity Day has become a double celebration for some families, – noted Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies. – I express my gratitude to the medical staff who helped the babies come into the world and provided care from the very first minutes of life.
Sergey Lyadenko, Deputy Chairman of the regional branch of the "Belaya Rus" party and Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Railway Department, as well as Mikhail Vishnevetsky, Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, joined the congratulations, wishing the families of the newborns health and well-being.
On National Unity Day, four girls and three boys were born. Their mothers are feeling well and greeted the guests with smiles.
Anna Burmel from Vitebsk gave birth to her second child, a daughter, on the state holiday. Her husband and eight-year-old son are very happy about the new addition to the family. They chose a proud and significant name – Victoria.
– Before going to the maternity hospital, we walked around the city and admired how it was transforming, – says Anna Burmel. – And I thought how wonderful it would be to become a mother on the upcoming state holiday, and now the dream has come true.
As if deciding to continue a family tradition, Kristina Korzhevskaya's daughter chose the 17th day for her birth, like her husband and mother-in-law. The baby will also bear the victorious name – Nika – in honor of her grandmother.
– This is my first child, so I was very worried when I was going to the maternity hospital. Fortunately, the birth went successfully, everything turned out well, and now I am a mother, – smiles Kristina Korzhevskaya. – I wish every woman to experience family happiness and look to the future with confidence.
