A branch of the regional clinical center for dermatovenereology and cosmetology has opened in the Vitebsk region
– The building of the former nursing home has been given a second life thanks to its transformation into a regional clinical center for dermatovenereology and cosmetology. Its opening on the eve of the Day of National Unity once again proves that only together can we achieve something worthwhile, – emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee, **Alexander Subbotin**. – The convenient location in a picturesque place near the city will allow patients to comfortably receive the necessary services and undergo treatment. Currently, the facility has been modernized internally; the next stage will be facade finishing, landscaping, and further equipping with high-tech equipment. I am confident that the center will be one of the leading not only in the region but also in the country.
The head of the main department for healthcare of the regional executive committee, **Mikhail Vishnevetsky**, noted that two years ago, a decision was made to organize inpatient care for patients in one place, as the center's services were scattered throughout the city.
– The dermatovenereology center is the only one in the Vitebsk region. Day hospitals remain in Orsha, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk, – noted Mikhail Vishnevetsky. – In Babinichi, inpatient care has been organized for people who need 24/7 treatment and monitoring. Decent conditions have been created here, both for patient stays and for the work of medical staff.
The building has undergone renovation, and furniture and equipment have been purchased for the 1st and 2nd dermatovenerological departments for approximately 1 million rubles. A total of 80 beds have been allocated for patient stays, including 10 for children. A playroom, shower, restroom, and staff room have been equipped.
– This is a long-awaited gift, – emphasized the chief physician of the Regional Clinical Center for Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology, Nana Nadirashvili. – This is the first large building where all services are gathered in one place: the 1st and 2nd dermatovenerological departments. Previously, three large centralized laboratories (serological, clinical diagnostic, and microbiological), as well as the centralized sterilization department and the medical rehabilitation department, moved here. Our department and specialists, who are in demand not only here but also abroad, will also be located here.
