Vitebsk, Luzhesno and Polotsk are hosting participants of the final stage of the republican olympiad in three academic subjects these days
109 students from all regions of the republic are demonstrating their knowledge of geography at the Vitebsk State Technical College.
The Physical Culture and Health Olympiad is taking place at the Vitebsk Cadet School. It involves 72 participants overcoming a theoretical stage and three practical stages: swimming, determining the level of physical fitness, and team sports.
More than 190 multilingual schoolchildren at the Polotsk Cadet School are completing tasks in foreign languages: English, German, French, Spanish, and Chinese.
In total, the final stage of the republican Olympiad includes intellectual competitions in 18 academic subjects. 207 students from the Vitebsk region are participating in it, of which 142 are representatives of gymnasiums, lyceums, and cadet schools. The largest number of students are from Vitebsk – 119.
Awards will be presented to the winners and prize-winners on March 29. By the way, last year students from the Vitebsk region won 111 diplomas, and our region took second place in the country, yielding only to Minsk.
