The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee announces the annual regional competition for the Vitebsk Regional Committee awards among young scientists

An announcement is made regarding the annual regional competition for awards from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee among young scientists.

The annual regional competition among young scientists is held to stimulate the research activities of young scientists engaged in promising scientific research in organizations of the Vitebsk region.

The competition is held in the following competitive sections:

fundamental research – 3 awards;

applied research and development – 4 awards, including one award for the best development for achieving results in economy and thrift.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until December 1, 2024.

Doctors of sciences under the age of 45, candidates of sciences under the age of 35, and scientists without a degree under the age of 30 (as of October 1 of the year in which candidates are nominated) are eligible to participate in the competition. They must have at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competitive work for the last 3 years, including the year the competition is held.

Requirements for the оформление of competitive works and other rules are set out in the Instructions on the procedure for conducting the annual regional competition among young scientists, approved by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated 10.11.2022, No. 605 (National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2022, No. 9/119447).
