The Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union summed up the results of the "Best Manager of the Year", "Best Design Engineer", and "Best Scientific Developer" competitions
The list of top managers includes directors of 12 enterprises and organizations from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Orsha, Chashniki, and Gorodok districts, including three private manufacturing companies and two educational institutions. The main goal of the competition is to stimulate the improvement of business qualifications and professionalism of managers. In the current situation, the role of leaders is more significant than ever, so it is especially important to support the corps of directors who have to work in conditions of price and logistical uncertainty, experiencing the highest emotional loads, noted Vladimir Turavinov.
The honorary title was awarded to Vladimir Nesterenko (RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill"), Alexander Gordienko (OJSC "Vitebsk Liqueur and Vodka Plant "Pridvinye"), Mikhail Skurat (Administration of FEZ "Vitebsk"), Vladimir Ilyushenko (UP "Vitebskvtormet"), Alexander Stankovsky (branch "Vitebsk CHP" RUP "Vitebskenergo"), Yuri Baranovsky (OJSC "DSU-45, Vitebsk"), Viktor Daschenko (branch "Chashniki PU" UP "Vitebskoblgaz"), Andrey Sidorov (PP "Machine-building company "Vitebsk Elevators"), Dmitry Barsukov (ChUPP "NOVY VEK spring"), Sergey Timofeev (LLC "Titan-Plast"), Nikolai Gavarichenko (Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine), and Vladimir Shitko (Gorodok State Agrarian-Technical College).
Among the specialists of the design departments of enterprises in the Vitebsk region, the best were recognized as the leading design engineer of Orsha Machine Tool Plant "Krasny Borets" Alexander Novikov and the design engineer of OJSC "Design Bureau "Display" Sergey Ovchinnikov.
In 2021, Alexander Novikov participated in the development of 10 special machine tools, and he was the lead designer for three main projects (internal grinding, cylindrical grinding, and thread grinding CNC machine tools). The machine tools created with his participation are characterized by the novelty of engineering solutions, high efficiency, and are not inferior to the best world analogues.
Sergey Ovchinnikov started working at "Display" 11 years ago, immediately after graduating from university. During this period, he proved himself to be a highly qualified and proactive specialist. He works in one of the most important areas for the enterprise - the development of automated remotely controlled observation and firing complexes. Sergey Ovchinnikov is the chief developer of the mechanical part of the complexes, which are among the most in-demand types of products.
The best scientific developer of the Vitebsk region in 2021 was recognized as Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of "Ecology and Chemical Technologies" of the Vitebsk State Technological University, Natalia Yasinskaya. She specializes in the development of chemical technologies for processing textile and composite materials. Over the past two years, Natalia Yasinskaya has led 4 research works under state scientific research programs. In total, she has over 300 scientific works to her credit, including 8 patents for inventions. The results of her scientific research have been implemented at light industry enterprises, including the Orsha Linen Mill, Baranovichi Cotton Production Association, enterprises of the "Marko" holding, and others.
The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers was established in 1999. This non-profit partnership unites about 400 enterprises and organizations of the real sector of the economy, and educational institutions. Winners of regional competitions are awarded an honorary badge and a diploma. The celebration of the laureates will take place at the next event of the VROO.
