"Vitebskoblgaz" handed over cars to the Vitebsk City Central Polyclinic for serving patients at home
Unitary enterprise "Vitebskoblgaz" solemnly handed over three vehicles to the Vitebsk City Central Polyclinic to ensure home-based patient care.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, the Chairman of the City Executive Committee Nikolai Orlov, the Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee Mikhail Vishnevetsky, the Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Belarus, General Director of Vitebskoblgaz Petr Shershen.
The Chief Physician of VCCCP Stanislav Titovich accepted the keys to the UAZ vehicles and thanked the gas workers for their assistance to the city's medical professionals, which they have been providing for two years and not for the first time. Vitebskoblgaz made a significant financial contribution to the acquisition of equipment for the PCR laboratory, which, in the context of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, allowed city outpatient facilities to have a much-needed diagnostic base.
In turn, gas workers, as employees of an operational service, perform a large volume of work to ensure uninterrupted and safe gas supply, which requires employees to have excellent health. City polyclinic specialists were among the first to implement such an important preventive measure as vaccination against COVID-19 for this professional group.
Vladimir Terentyev noted at the ceremony that large state corporations like the regional gas company are known for their good, high-quality work and significant tax contributions to the common treasury. The enterprise also provides assistance to athletes so that they can achieve world-class results, orphans, and many others who need support. The active participation in the important mission that medical professionals are carrying out in today's challenging conditions was expressed today through the transfer of much-needed vehicles.
