Vitebsk region will be represented by 10 athletes at the Tokyo Olympics
The composition of the Belarusian national team for the XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo has been approved. The Department of Sports and Tourism of the Regional Executive Committee reported that 10 athletes will represent the Vitebsk region.
These include, of course, the Rio de Janeiro Games trampoline champion Vladislav Goncharov, as well as Ivan Litvinovich. On the track cycling, experienced athlete Tatiana Sharakova will compete for medals. The largest "contingent" is from the representatives of the "queen of sports" -- athletics -- Maksim Nedasekau, Violetta Skvortsova, Gleb Dudarev, Dzmitry Dyubin, Vitaly Parakhonka, Yury Vasilchanka, Anastasiya Kolomoyets.
The Olympics will be held from July 23 to August 8.
