The military-patriotic club "Vityaz" celebrated its third anniversary

Военно-патриотический клуб «Витязь» отметил свое трехлетие
Patriotism, fortitude, and discipline. These character traits are cultivated in the members of the "Vityaz" military-patriotic club, which has celebrated its third anniversary.

A festive event was held at VSU named after P. Masherov, featuring a flower-laying ceremony at the "Order of Victory" memorial sign, awarding distinguished club members and parents for raising exemplary children, and a celebratory concert.

"Vityaz" was established at military unit 5524 of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The club unites 150 young men and women from Vitebsk schools. They study the basics of hand-to-hand combat, military-applied and medical training, and participate in the city's public life.

– The military-patriotic club is a training ground for personnel for law enforcement agencies of any specialization. And even for those who choose a civilian profession, it will instill a core strength that will prevent them from breaking down and help them make the right decision in any critical situation, – noted the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, congratulating "Vityaz" on its anniversary.

A notable example is the siblings Matvey and Violetta Titov, and their friend Andrey Kozlov, who last Friday, while returning from training, assisted employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in extinguishing a fire at the "Belarus" shopping center. The youngsters supported the fire ladders used by rescuers to reach the upper floor, helped deploy fire hoses, guided the injured to ambulances, and maintained the cordon.

Alexander Subbotin presented Matvey, Violetta, and Andrey with sweet gifts and recently printed calendars from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, on which he left his autograph.

The head of the region emphasized that the pupils of "Vityaz" are also distinguished by modesty. Only at the event did the governor learn that this year, club member Ivan Gamzyuk provided assistance in Gorodok to three citizens who had sustained stab wounds and controlled their condition before the medics arrived.

– The gift for Ivan is on me, – said Alexander Subbotin and thanked the parents and club mentors for the children who give confidence in our future, for the fact that we will always be protected.
