Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Anzhelika Nikitina visited a number of enterprises in Vitebsk

Anzhelika Nikitina, recently appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee, visited a number of enterprises in the regional center.

These included "Novy Vek Spring", "Vitebsk Fur Combine", and "Bel' Bimbo". As Anzhelika Nikitina noted, the issue of import substitution is currently relevant. Unfortunately, not everything is consistent in the legislation, so the main goal of the visit is to familiarize oneself with the prospects and problems and, if necessary, to initiate the removal of restraining factors at the republican level.

For example, "Novy Vek Spring" was the first in the country to successfully cope with an important task – to provide domestic machine-building plants with spring teeth of its own production. The products are supplied to the assembly lines of MTZ, Gomselmash, Amkodor, BelAZ, as well as to organizations that provide service maintenance for agricultural machinery. The capacities allow for the production of teeth for all brands of agricultural machinery manufactured and operated in Belarus and Russia. According to Dmitry Barsukov, director of "Novy Vek Spring", 100 tons of metal wire are processed monthly for the production of spring products. The enterprise employs about 40 people, with an average monthly salary of over 2 thousand rubles.

Anzhelika Nikitina also visited the VSTU Science and Technology Park and familiarized herself with its capabilities on the indicated topic.
