The new academic year is not only a time for minors to gain new knowledge and make discoveries, but also a contribution to the development of the country and its future. 2025 has been declared the Year of Improvement, which is an excellent opportunity for Belarusians, including the youngest ones, to participate in tidying up their small homeland. This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin during the festive assembly at the P. Antipov Ezherishchenskaya Secondary School. They agreed that Knowledge Day is a real New Year for educators and their students. Like any holiday, it should be bright and memorable, bringing a lot of positive emotions. It is also important for children to spend their time productively within the educational institution, acquiring knowledge and experience from their mentors, the head of the region emphasized. Teachers, in turn, should be patient and draw inspiration from working with students.

This year, about 1.7 thousand children started school in the district, including 140 first-graders. The distinguished guests studied the conditions created for the children in the urban settlement, presented the youngest students with the textbook "Belarus is Our Motherland" and sweet gifts, and presented the teachers with a monetary certificate for further improvement of the material and technical base.

"Today is a particularly exciting day for first-graders. I wish them that this new stage of life is joyful and interesting. It is important to absorb new knowledge with pleasure. This will be a special period for the graduates as well: they will have to decide on their future profession and make every effort to achieve their goals," noted the Chairperson of the District Executive Committee Irina Polyakova. "We have tried to create comfortable conditions for the children in their localities so that they can develop fully, reach professional heights, and become worthy citizens of their country."

Elena MAVRINA, Director of Yezershchyna Secondary School: — We carried out extensive preparatory work before the start of the new academic year so that our students could study in comfortable conditions. In addition, the school grounds were landscaped — thanks to the efforts of teachers and students, we now have a dendropark. Representatives of 13 organizations from the district helped us plant the trees.
