Alexander Subbotin: "The task for farmers now is to enter the spring sowing campaign as quickly as possible"

The immediate task for agricultural producers is to enter the spring sowing campaign as quickly as possible and complete all operations within the allocated agro-technical deadlines. This was stated by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, during a working trip to the Orsha district.

The discussion on the progress of the upcoming sowing campaign was attended by the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, Leonid Zayats, the leadership of the Orsha District Executive Committee, and directors of individual agricultural enterprises. Problematic issues were also voiced and solutions were outlined.

– When weather conditions permit, it is necessary to sow without delay and with high quality. Equipment (readiness across the region is about 90%), seeds, fertilizers – there are still sufficient resources in all areas for today's work. All this needs to be linked into a single chain so that the system works without failures, – emphasized Alexander Subbotin.
