April turned out to be one of the best in recent years for the sale of unused state property

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's State Property Committee has had one of its most successful months in selling unused state property.

Three unused buildings of the former "KIM" factory, with an area of over 13 thousand square meters, were sold at auction.

The sold properties include the air conditioner building, the dyeing shop, and a five-story annex.

The total sale price was almost half a million rubles.

The buyers were two residents of Vitebsk. In the future, these premises could house production facilities or consumer services.

After the bankruptcy of the sewing enterprise in 2019, this site remained one of the most problematic in the Vitebsk region. Over the years, private businesses have gradually developed it.

Currently, the only unused property remaining is the main building, which is now offered for sale with an 80% price reduction.

Also in April, the complex of properties of the Vitebsk Center for Standardization and Metrology at Tereshkova Street, 23, in Vitebsk, was sold for almost 800 thousand rubles.

It became the most expensive property sold at auction since the beginning of the year.

The sold complex includes an administrative and utility building and a material warehouse, with a total area of over 2 thousand square meters.

The buyer is a neighboring private enterprise, which will use it to expand its production activities.

The committee has scheduled more than 80 auctions for the sale of unused state property for the near future, with most properties offered at a starting price equal to one base value.

In total, the committee has held 52 successful auctions in the first 4 months of this year. This has not only replenished the state budget by 2.5 million rubles but also put unused state property to use in the development of the Vitebsk region.
