БОЛЬШОЙ РЕПОРТАЖ: Лучших выпускников Первомайского района чествовали в Витебске
Laughter, joy, and a few tears – the Vitebsk Ice Palace hosted the best graduates of the educational institutions of the Pervomaisky district, holders of gold and silver medals.

The traditional event brought together 115 young talents, the pride of parents and teachers. In a festive atmosphere, the graduates shared joyful moments, took selfies as souvenirs, and received their well-deserved awards with excitement.

It's 4:30 PM. The Ice Palace is filled with a festive atmosphere: beautiful hairstyles, elegant dresses, and striking suits created impressive looks, as if straight from the covers of fashion magazines. Even the prolonged rain did not spoil the mood of the honorees.

A familiar melody plays in the lobby, and a spirit of nostalgia fills the air: "School, school, I miss you" – this song, familiar to everyone, evokes warm memories not only for the graduates but also for their parents. The lyrics, filled with tenderness and longing, seem to transport everyone back to those carefree days when laughter and friendship were the main companions. For a moment, hearts stand still in the hall, and tears sparkle in the eyes, because this is not just a farewell to school, but an entire chapter of life.
Inna Orlovskaya watches with a trembling heart as her daughter Alexandra, a graduate of Vitebsk Secondary School No. 43 named after M. Shmyrev, receives her award.

– I can't believe my daughter is already a graduate, – says Inna. – It seems like just yesterday we brought Sasha to the first grade, and now eleven years have flown by in an instant. We've been through so much over these years. But this day came suddenly, and we weren't ready for it. The celebration prepared for us is magnificent. We are enjoying every moment, every glance, every smile.
Sasha is a gold medalist. The girl is convinced that this is not just an award, but the result of hard work that began back in elementary school. She was always a diligent student, and when they reached the eighth grade, the family realized they had to see it through.
– This high award is Sasha's own merit, her hard work, her experiences and emotions, – added Inna. – And her mom and dad were always there, supporting and inspiring her. On this day, they are proud of their daughter, her achievements, and the person she has become.

The solemn part of the event began literally half an hour later. The Head of the Administration of the Pervomaisky District of Vitebsk, Yevgeny Semyonchyov, congratulating the students, noted that teachers, parents, and graduates are the main heroes today.

– This is the third time we are holding this graduation ball, and it is especially significant in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 85th anniversary of the Pervomaisky District of the city of Vitebsk. This year, 1080 young men and women graduated from general secondary education institutions in our district, – said Yevgeny Semyonchyov. – It is important to remember our history and cherish it. The future well-being of our native Belarus depends on you.
This academic year has been truly successful for the education system of Pervomaysky District – first place in the Vitebsk region for the number of winners of the final stage of the republican оlympiad, which is 21 winners.
– We are also leading in the number of graduates who showed excellent results in the centralized exam, with 34 perfect score certificates, – stated the head of the administration of Pervomaysky District. – As you embark on adult life, remember that behind your success lies the immense hard work not only of yours, but also of your teachers and parents. I am confident that you are capable of achieving any, even the boldest plans. But do not forget that to make the right decisions, you must remain patriots of your country, city, and, of course, your beloved Pervomaysky District.

The next stage of the celebration became an important milestone in the personal history of each participant – the awarding of certificates and prizes began.

– Today we have gathered to celebrate an important moment in our lives – receiving gold and silver medals. And here, in my hands, is the long-awaited gold! This is not just a medal, it is a symbol of my efforts, my dreams and hopes, – shared Daria Prudnikova, a graduate of Gymnasium No. 5 named after I. Lyudnikov. – I am immensely happy, a gold medal is the result of titanic work. Every day I took small steps towards my goal, overcoming difficulties and doubts. I participated in the оlympiad movement in English and mathematics. These intellectual competitions became not only a challenge for me, but also an opportunity to unlock my potential.

– Today, I stand on the threshold of a new life, and excitement fills me. My heart is pounding so hard that it feels like everyone around can hear it, – admitted Ksenia Kostyukova, a graduate of Secondary School No. 40 named after M. Gromov. – I am proud that I managed to achieve 100 points in mathematics – this is the result of the enormous effort I put into my studies. Endless classes in school and with a tutor, independent efforts – all this was not easy. Now, as I look to the future, I am full of hopes and ambitions. My next step is to enroll in VSTU for the specialty "Economics and Management". I am ready for new challenges and I am confident that I will be able to achieve success.
