Igor Sergeenko familiarized himself with the progress of preparations for spring field work in the Miory district
Specifically, at OAO "Lyubinovo", the situation is as follows: milk yield per cow is slightly over 4 liters, and weight gain for cattle is about 300 grams. This is clearly insufficient. Specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food emphasized to the head the need for stricter accounting and identification of cows, pedigree work, and ensuring epidemic safety. They cited leaders in this field as examples: at SUP "Titovo", milk yield per cow exceeded 6 thousand tons per year, and at OAO "Shaiterovo" in the Verkhnedvinsk district – 8 thousand.
Attention should also be paid to the quality of feed. A sufficient amount was procured last year, however, it is important to preserve it.
Regarding the readiness of agricultural machinery for spring field work, at OAO "Lyubinovo" it is 73.3%. The machine and tractor fleet requires renewal. Some repairs are done in-house, and assistance is also requested from specialized enterprises. Meanwhile, the summer pasture season is not far off. Igor Petrovich instructed to accelerate the preparation of mobile milking units.
At UP "Cheressy", all trailed equipment is ready for sowing, and tractors will be brought to a state of readiness in the second decade of March. Livestock performance indicators are at the average district level: about 10 liters per cow per day are milked, and weight gain for heifers is around 500 grams. The farm has prospects.
