Igor Sergeenko is on a working visit to the Postavy district

Today, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, authorized representative of the Head of State in the Vitebsk region, Igor Sergeenko, is working in Postavy. The first item on his working agenda was a visit to the Postavy Central District Hospital. Here, together with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, they familiarized themselves with the operation of the new building of the institution.

From 2023 to 2025, using funds from the regional and republican budgets within the framework of the State Investment Program, the project "Construction of a building for a healthcare institution with a transition to inpatient facility No. 1 of the Postavy Central District Hospital" was implemented, which allowed for the relocation of inpatient departments previously housed in the former Tyzenhaus Palace building.

The constructed three-story building of inpatient facility No. 2 with a new transformer and oxygen station is connected by a heated single-story passage to the existing building of inpatient facility No. 1. The total area of the facility is over 3400 m2. The new building will house surgical and neurological departments (20 beds each), endoscopy, ultrasound, and functional diagnostics offices, and other services.
