Lukashenko summed up the results of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly: the adopted program is a project for the modernization and renewal of all spheres of life

The Program of Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2026-2030, adopted at the second meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly, is a project for the modernization and renewal of all spheres of life. This was stated by President, Chairman of the BPPA Alexander Lukashenko, summing up the results of the two-day meeting.

At the second meeting of the VII BPPA, a number of new constitutional powers were implemented for the first time. Thus, the composition of the higher courts was updated, and the basic document of state planning for the medium-term period was approved - the program for the upcoming five-year period.

"The adopted program is a project for the modernization and renewal of all spheres of life. It takes into account the achievements of past years, current challenges, and our capabilities. Yes, the tasks set for the five-year period are challenging, but not sky-high. We have never suffered from wishful thinking, we have always made realistic plans, moved forward steadily, step by step. And the implementation of what is planned is in our hands," said the President.

The Head of State, speaking about the future development of agriculture in the country, particularly noted the merits of one of the participants of the BPPA - the tractor driver of the "Kukhchitsy" enterprise Pavel Shutilo, who threshed 8 thousand tons of grain during the current harvest campaign, which is an absolute record in the country. Alexander Lukashenko noted that when he managed the agricultural enterprise, they harvested about 3-4 thousand tons of grain there. And here one person threshed 8 thousand tons!

"There is a hero sitting here. He threshed over eight thousand tons!" said the President. The entire hall applauded the tractor driver's achievements.

"I insist that new industries are also needed. If a nation wants to develop, it is necessary not only to deepen production where we know how to do something, but also to create new ones," said Alexander Lukashenko.
 
The President focused on such a field as aircraft manufacturing: "We know how to do some things, because we carried out repairs of aircraft - both civilian and military."

He noted that at one time a decision was made to relocate the civil aviation plant from Minsk to the territory of the National Airport Minsk. "We moved this aircraft repair enterprise. This is the first stage. Today we are ready to expand it, and we proved useful. When specialists from Russia arrived, where aviation manufacturing is at a high level, they were amazed. They looked and said: 'You (in Belarus. - Note by BELTA) have specialists, you have great production facilities - you need very little to produce aircraft'," the head of state added.
 
The head of state emphasized that in Belarus, relying on the accumulated experience and competencies, it is necessary to develop existing areas in the economy and social sphere more deeply, without inventing anything special. "We have certain development directions. Once upon a time, no one paid attention to them, or someone abroad did not pay attention. Today, not only in our fraternal Russia - this is our single market, one might say so - everyone has realized that in Soviet times we had excellent schools, specialists, and competencies, as it is fashionable to say now. Why should we in Belarus invent something? Is there demand for agriculture? Yes. We need to develop it," the President said. 
 
"We will support the youth. Those who want to work and earn money - we will spare neither money nor time for that. But we will support those (who want to work. - Note by BELTA)," the Belarusian leader stated. 
 
"We need to gently, without alienating the youth, adapt them to labor. If a person gets a taste of what labor is, he will become a patriot and a normal person. He will never run away, like our fugitives ran away without thinking. And then they faced the real reality," the President said.

 
"Come out and speak. We are open to this conversation," Alexander Lukashenko stated. 
 
The Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Oleg Gaidukevich, made a corresponding proposal at the meeting of the Supreme State Council.

"We will think together with the party leaders about which area the party organization could oversee. A good proposal. I am absolutely for it," the President said.
 
The Head of State, speaking about shipbuilding, noted that at one time the shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Pinsk was almost ruined. "They had enough sense to preserve some competencies. We are ready to produce small or medium-sized vessels there. Some competencies exist," he emphasized. 
 
Lukashenko recalled digital security, including with a personal example.
 
The Head of State said that recently, for the second time this year, he was personally warned by Russia's counterintelligence that certain phones of people from the President's entourage were being monitored by the US. "There is huge interest," noted Alexander Lukashenko. 
 
The President emphasized that it is necessary to master and develop domestic data processing and storage technologies. And here, it is not so much important to create, for example, a domestic mobile phone, as it is to create our own software. At the same time, according to Alexander Lukashenko, it is important not to ruin wired telephone communication technologies either.  
 
Lukashenko: the main focus in the five-year period will be on the development of Belarus's regions
 
"The main focus in the five-year period will be on our regions. We have 118 regions," said Alexander Lukashenko. "Our people are there. These regions are not neglected. The centers have been put in order – they are clean and tidy."
 
The Head of State noted that in microelectronics, Belarus, thanks to joint work with the Russians, has achieved a real breakthrough. "Thanks to joint production, we have begun to make very serious progress in microelectronics," said Alexander Lukashenko.
 
As the head of state emphasized, "Polonez" needs to be improved, taking into account the development of electronic warfare systems, among other things. "The situation has changed a lot. Electronic warfare systems are very powerful. We need to protect this missile, make it even more accurate, so that it flies through a window, as I once said. In the coming years, we will receive a more advanced "Polonez", but we must produce it ourselves. We made our own "Polonez" - the latest versions. If we know how to make it, we need to improve it. It is our task to protect the missile from the impact of electronic warfare systems," he noted.
 
The head of state recalled that by the decision of the Sultan of Oman, with whom Alexander Lukashenko has established good personal and business relations, an area of more than 200 hectares has been allocated in that country for Belarus to implement a project for the construction of tourist facilities.
 
According to the President, design work is currently underway, and construction is planned to begin in the coming years. Private investors are being attracted for financing.
 

Addressing the delegates, Alexander Lukashenko noted that all of them had the opportunity in advance to study and work through the program draft. "I understand that among the delegates there are many people who are encountering such problems for the first time. But being a delegate is a difficult task. And sometimes you have to not just do arithmetic, but delve into some economic problems. But we are delegates. You can't get away from it. This is the essence of our work," he said.
