The socio-economic development of Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Polotsk and Orsha districts is being discussed at the meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee
– These are very important districts that shape the socio-economic development indicators of our region, – noted the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, opening the meeting. – Therefore, today, having statistical data for a certain period, as well as the assessment of the Ministry of Economy, we are separately analyzing both positive and negative aspects related to the implementation of tasks for the accelerated socio-economic development of these regions.
The participants of the meeting, which is held via video conferencing, are hearing reports from the chairmen of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee Igor Burmistrov, the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, the Polotsk District Executive Committee Vasily Shilov, and the heads of the administrations of the regional center.
