The reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" was held at PSU named after P. Masherov.
Today, the regional branch of the Belarusian "Belaya Rus" party has over 9,000 members, whereas at its inception in 2023, there were only fifteen hundred.
This rapid growth in the party's popularity is the result of extensive, focused work to strengthen unity, patriotism, and the social orientation of its initiatives. "Belaya Rus" is not merely an association of like-minded individuals but a powerful force united by the common goal of making Belarus prosperous and independent. The party demonstrates its devotion to its homeland not just in words but in deeds; its ideals are stability, dynamic development, and a dignified future for every citizen.
– It can be confidently stated that "Belaya Rus," as a political party, has made a strong impression with its excellent and engaging projects, – noted Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies. – Together, we passed a rigorous examination during the crucial electoral campaign for the President of the Republic of Belarus. It was precisely we, fellow party members, who demonstrated ourselves to be a well-formed and mature political force. Ahead of us lies a five-year period of development, a five-year period of quality, and under no circumstances should we become complacent or wait for the next electoral cycle. We must clearly understand that an active struggle is being waged against our country, economy, defense capabilities, and most importantly, against our spirituality and morality. All our achievements provoke irritation among Belarus's geopolitical adversaries, who, by imposing the harshest economic sanctions, deploying military bases, and exerting informational influence, are doing everything they can to undermine our country. During this period, we must comprehend our responsibility as a crucial element of civil society for the future.
As noted in her report by the chairperson of the regional branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus", rector of VSU named after P. Masherov, Valentina Bogatyreva, the organization held over 550 patriotic events and campaigns in 2024, including forums, round tables and dialogue platforms, meetings with ideological activists and work collectives. Among them are the project "Modern World Order", the series of children's patriotic festivals "Love for Native Belarus from Childhood", etc.
The theme of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory has gained special significance this year. The exhibition "Great May of the Great Victory" was held for the second time at the "Trio" shopping center in the regional center, an international alley was planted in the Botanical Garden, a digital archive of memories of witnesses of the Great Patriotic War was created, and a number of events were implemented to improve military graves from the Great Patriotic War. As part of the "Party School" project, an online educational platform is operating.
And this is only a small fraction of all the work that is being done in every corner of the region. Largely thanks to the personal initiative, perseverance, and activity of the chairperson of the regional organization. Therefore, it is not surprising that the conference delegates unanimously re-elected Valentina Bogatyreva as the chairperson of the council of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus".
